Co Project had a fundraiser at our house tonight. To say I was a little stressed about the whole thing is putting it mildly! This ran smooth as silk. These kids thought of everything! They had a $5 donation as the entrance fee, charged for Prom pictures (taken in front of a special backdrop they made), had a 50/50 raffle, sold Polaroids and had donation bucks sitting around. They tarped in the patio for warmth, set up two fire pits in the yard with couches and chairs to sit and relax by the fire, set up an old Nintendo with old school games, danced to 80's music with strobe lights and streamers hanging from the ceiling. It was fantastic. Everybody brought desserts or appetizers to fill the food table. Granny, Robert and I also donated a few items and as a group effort, it was a big success! They raised over $1000 dollars!
What a great group of kids! They set up...cleaned up and you could not even tell they had been here! Pretty amazing!
One more reason to love Aaron, he cleans!
